An extremely rare pair of Arts and Crafts Late 19th century antique mahogany cabinets possibly designed by George Faulkner Armitage. These cabinets are of exhibition quality and have many unusual and desirable design elements. The basic pentagonal design is further enhanced by the wonderful leaded glass panels which are slightly Moorish in design. The upper section is supported by four architecturally designed turned and spiral twisted supports. The lower section is again architecturally designed with turned supports and terminating in unusual circular feet. There are no indications as to who made these cabinets but it must have been one of the very best late 19th century cabinet makers such as collinson & Lock circa 1890. Condition: These cabinets are in excellent original condition, one minor crack to one pane of glass FREE UK MAINLAND DELIVERY
