The solid mahogany top having satinwood cross banded detail above a beautifully marquetry inlaid frieze which is centred by an urn flanked by trailing marquetry flora. Having three solid mahogany adjustable shelves each with line inlaid detail. The solid mahogany ends having ribbon and trailing harebell inlaid detail to the front with satinwood inlaid detail on the ends, raised on a solid mahogany boxwood line inlaid plinth circa 1890
