An unusual Edwardian Period mahogany revolving bookcase/table. The square solid mahogany top with chequer band inlaid detail and having geometric boxwood line inlaid detail to the frieze, above a solid mahogany internal revolving bookcase. Each canted corner  again in beautifully figured solid mahogany with chequer band inlaid detail. The four circular turned supports with vertical boxwood line inlaid detail. The whole raised on square tapering supports with brass castor's. Bearing the registration stamp R1581, a number and pattern known to have been used by Shapland & Petter Of Barnstaple,who were high quality manufacturers and designers in the Edwardian Period circa1900-1910

Condition: This bookcase is in beautiful restored condition
