A beautiful 19th Century French carved gilt wood chaise longue in the Louis XVI manner. The curved ends surmounted by trailing rose heads. The frame decorated with entrelac carving and raised on seven elegant cabriole supports with acanthus carving and terminating in whorl and peg feet. All finely upholstered in an expensive Regency floral green silk weave, circa 1870
Condition: This chaise longue is in stunning condition, it has been re-gilded in the last 20-30 years to a very high standard. The fabric is beautiful and in excellent condition.
