A Late 19th Century mahogany and satinwood marquetry inlaid secretaire abattant. Having a rectangular white and grey veined marble top above an arrangement of eight oak lined drawers each with fine marquetry and pen work inlaid drawer fronts in a variety of exotic woods and with ribbon and swag ormolu escutcheons. The second and third drawer down opening to reveal a well fitted secretaire interior with a leather lined writing surface. The drawers flanked by inlaid columns and ormolu capitols. Having satinwood and mahogany veneered sides the whole raised on a rectangular plinth with ormolu mounted feet.
