A good set of 7 Victorian Period captains armchairs. Each with a curved back support, open swept arms with eight turned spindle supports and lovely dished elm seats. Raised on turned supports with double turned stretchers. Each chair is stamped to the back with the initial C who was probably the provincial chair maker, these chairs possibly made in Yorkshire circa 1880
Condition: This set of chairs are in excellent original condition, a lovely colour and patination. They are very sturdy with no wobbles.
