A Stunning quality Late Victorian mahogany marquetry inlaid antique writing desk, the rectangular top having an inverted breakfront, retaining the original Moroccan red leather gilt tooled writing surface, having satinwood cross banded decoration with ebony and boxwood inlaid detail, the graduating mahogany lined drawers profusely inlaid with the finest marquetry inlaid decoration depicting flowing marquetry floral garlands, again cross banded in satinwood with ebony line inlaid detail, also having superb water gilded brass handles and the original London made brass locks complete with working key.
