A beautiful George III Period oak and mahogany antique Lancashire mule chest. The rectangular well figured oak top opening to reveal a large storage area and having an internal candle box and drawers. The chest having an arrangement of two dummy mahogany cross banded drawers over two short oak lined drawers, over one long oak lined drawer, each drawer retaining the original brass swan neck handles and escutcheons, flanked by quarter reeded Corinthian columns, raised on ogee bracket feet circa 1790-1800 Condition: This mule chest is in excellent condition, superb colour and patination. fully cleaned and waxed
