An Early Victorian Mahogany cylinder secretaire bookcase, the upper section having a flared and moulded mahogany veneered cornice above twin fiddle back veneered doors with beautifully carved glazing bars, enclosing three adjustable shelves. The lower section having a beautifully figured cylindrical front opening to reveal a well fitted satin birch, ebony and mahogany writing interior, above twin panelled doors which are flanked by column supports with shaped corbels, the whole raised on a mahogany veneered plinth base circa 1850 Condition: This bookcase is in excellent condition, fully cleaned and waxed
