A Victorian Period Antique mahogany partners desk. The rectangular solid mahogany top having an inset worn red leather writing surface with gilt and blind tool detail (probably the original), with a thumb moulded edge. Each pedestal having an arrangement of four mahogany lined graduating drawers and one long central rectangular knee hole drawer, each retaining their original brass swan neck handles and locks with working key. The reverse of the desk having three frieze drawers with conforming left and right opening panelled doors which enclose shelved interiors. The desk has solid mahogany ends, raised on a mahogany veneered plinth with concealed castor's circa 1880-1890
Condition: This desk is is excellent original condition, fully cleaned and waxed.
