A superb quality Edwardian Period Antique inlaid dressing table by Shapland And Petter Of Barnstaple. The upper section having an oval bevelled mirror with rosewood cross banded detail supported on marquetry inlaid supports, with a shaped shelf and concave shaped jewelry drawers. The lower section having a bow front drop centre with a deep central drawer, flanked by two further mahogany lined end drawers, with Georgian style pressed back plate handles, raised on square tapering supports united by a wavy stretcher. The locks are stamped S & P, B, and the retailers name A & H Barlow, Wigan is stamped to the drawer, circa 1900-1910 Condition: This dressing table is in excellent original condition, fully cleaned and waxed. The wavy stretcher has an old repair.
