A very finely figured flame veneered Regency Period mahogany gentleman's breakfront gentleman's press. The moulded and stepped cornice above a pair of central panelled doors, enclosing the original mahogany fronted ash lined trays. Above two short and two long mahogany lined drawers with the original brass handles and ivory escutcheons. Flanked by a pair of panelled doors, the right hand side for full length hanging, the left hand side with hanging space and a deep storage drawer, the whole raised on turned squat tapering feet, this press is of well chosen timber and of exceptional colour, circa 1820-1830 Condition: This press is in excellent original condition, fully cleaned and waxed
