A magnificent Victorian Period burr walnut antique double breakfront wardrobe. The deep molded domed cornice having a central carved floral cartouche above a central mirrored door with well carved floral mouldings to the corners of the mirror, flanked by exquisitely carved corbels to the moulded pilasters. The central door opening to reveal his/hers hanging space, lined in the original silk with beautiful gilded hooks with porcelain finials, (one finial lacking). The end sections are separated from the central sections by beautifully figured bowed burr walnut panels again with exquisite carved detail. Each end section having a series of sliding press trays and fitted walnut drawers, with mahogany linings throughout. The whole raised on a double breakfront shaped plinth. The quality of this wardrobe cannot be conveyed in words, it is simply stunning quality throughout, and in totally original condition. The choice of veneers used for this wardrobe are remarkable as is the quality of each carved detail.
