A Late Victorian Chippendale Revival Mahogany double sided pedestal desk. The rectangular mahogany top having an olive green with gilt and blind tooled detail and a beautiful carved moulded edge, above a long rectangular oak lined frieze drawer. Each pedestal having a further three graduating oak lined drawers each with a cock beaded edge and retaining the original gilt brass swan neck handles. The central knee hole having a well carved apron. The reverse of the desk having "dummy" drawers again with gilt brass handles and a central flame mahogany panel, the whole raised on eight beautifully carved squat mahogany feet circa 1880-1890 Condition: This desk is in stunning condition, fully cleaned and waxed.
