A George II Style antique mahogany knee hole writing desk. the solid mahogany top having a moulded edge and with a central frieze drawer. The knee hole having a concealed drawer above a mahogany panelled cupboard, flanked by three graduating drawers. Each drawer having beautiful period brass pierced back plate handles. The whole raised on shaped bracket feet circa 1900-1910. Although this desk was constructed in the Edwardian Period, the timber used for the top and drawer fronts ect is from the Georgian Period Condition: This writing desk is in excellent original condition, fully cleaned and waxed
