A Victorian Period amboyna, ebony and gilt mounted centre table. The rectangular bow ended top veneered in beautifully figured amboyna, cross banded in tulip wood within an ebonised border and having an ormolu beaded edge. Having a mahogany lined concealed frieze drawer with a Hobbs and Co lock. The bowed ends and the reverse again beautifully veneered in amboyna, the whole raised on four turned and fluted ormolu mounted tapering supports, terminating in brass and porcelain castor's, English circa 1860-1870 Condition: This table is in excellent condition, fully restores, cleaned and waxed
