A magnificent Victorian Period thuya wood and burr walnut antique credenza. The rectangular top with bowed ends veneered in beautifully figured burr walnut. The frieze veneered in thuya wood with geometric purple heart and ebony inlaid banding with a central sevres plaque depicting a courting couple, above twin panelled central doors each centred with an oval sevres porcelain plaque depicting romantic scenes, flanked by beautiful figural ormolu mounts. The doors opening to reveal a silk lined shelved interior. Having bow front glazed end doors which enclose silk lined shelves, the whole raised on an inverted thuya wood breakfront plinth base with goncalo alves moulding circa 1870 Condition: This credenza is in stunning condition, fully restored and re-lined in an ivory silk watermark FREE UK MAINLAND DELIVERY
