A Magnificent Edwardian Period Inlaid Hall Wardrobe C1900-1910

41.5" wide x 14" deep x 78.5" high (Internal depth 9")

A magnificent Edwardian Period inlaid hall wardrobe. The moulded cornice with dentil inlaid detail and urn inlaid paterae, above the twin panelled doors profusely inlaid, the top panels having urn inlaid oval panels with ribbon and garland floral detail and cross banded in satinwood. The lower rectangular panels with similar Adam style urn inlaid detail and wonderful marquetry floral inlaid detail, again cross banded in satinwood. The doors open to reveal a single mahogany shelf and brass coat hooks. This wardrobe is stunning quality and would have undoubtedly have been made by one of the premier manufacturers of this Period such as Edwards & Roberts or Gillows Of Lancaster, bearing the retailers label Merryweather & Sons, Holloway, London circa 1900-1910

Condition: This hall wardrobe is in stunning condition, cleaned and waxed. Solid mahogany throughout
