An exceptional quality Victorian Period burr walnut open bookcase. The rectangular top veneered in beautifully figured burr walnut with tulip wood and boxwood geometric inlaid banding and with a tulip wood cross grain moulded edge. The frieze of inverted breakfront form again with tulip wood cross banding. The adjustable shelves having replacement olive green leather dust protectors. The pilasters with tulip wood cross banded detail and the ends veneered in figured walnut, the whole raised on a burr walnut veneered shaped plinth. Probably made by Holland & Sons or Gillows Of Lancaster, but not stamped, circa 1870 Condition: This bookcase is in beautifully restored condition FREE UK MAINLAND DELIVERY
