An Edwardian Period mahogany inlaid pedestal desk. The rectangular solid mahogany top with satinwood cross banded detail, having an inset olive green gilt and blind tooled leather writing surface. Having a central rectangular knee hole frieze drawer beautifully inlaid with trailing garlands. Each pedestal also having four graduated oak lined drawers with brass locks and handles.The sides and back of the desk also made of solid mahogany with satinwood banded detail. Raised on a mahogany shaped plinth with inset castor's circa 1900-1910 Condition: This desk is in beautifully restored condition, with a replacement leather insert.
