A rare pair of George I Style burr walnut concertina action fold over card tables by Tozer of London. Each fold over rectangular top with rounded corners, cross banded and herringbone strung, opening to reveal the original floral tapestry interior, and circular counter sections. Each serpentine frieze fitted with a shallow oak lined drawer with the original engraved brass swan neck handle. Raised on bold cabriole legs carved with shells and pendants, terminating in claw and ball feet circa 1900 Condition: This pair of tables are in beautifully restored condition Charles Tozer was a retailer of high quality revivalist furniture although seems to have specialised in walnut pieces in the early 18th century style and was established at 25 Brook Street London from the early 20th century and traded into the 1960s.
