An unusual Victorian Period oak and pollard oak knee hole writing desk. The solid oak rectangular top having an inset green gilt and blind tooled leather writing surface. Having concealed frieze drawers, with concave moulded drawer fronts and acanthus carved detail to the corners. Each pedestal having three graduating mahogany lined drawers with pollard oak drawer fronts and brass aesthetic style handles. The end panels, inside panels and back panels all in pollard oak. The whole raised on an oak veneered plinth with inset castor's circa 1880-1890 Condition: This desk is in excellent original condition, cleaned and waxed FREE UK MAINLAND DELIVERY
