A Good & Rare Pair Of Arts & Crafts Oak Armchairs Possibly By Liberty & Co C1900

Arm chair 39" high x 24" deep x 26" wide (seat 12" high) Rocker 37" high x 29" deep x 25" wide (seat 12" high)

A good and rare pair of Arts & Crafts oak armchairs possibly by Liberty & Co of London. Each chair having a stylised Arts & Crafts pierced top rail with a central heart shaped motif to the angled back supports and having open arms with upholstered arm rests above the cushioned seats. One a rocking chair, raised on a shaped "rocking" platform base, the other raised on square tapering supports. The chairs have been recently re-upholstered in a peacock feather design similar to what may have been used originally. Constructed with quarter sawn oak throughout, possibly by Liberty's of London, circa 1900

Condition: This pair of chars are in excellent condition, cleaned and waxed. An excellent colour and patination
