A Rare Arts & Crafts oak extending dining table by Arthur Simpson Of Kendal. The rectangular three plank top having traditional cleated ends and two draw leaf sections which extend the table from 66" to 102" when both opened. The frieze carved in typical Simpson stylised leaf and berry carving similar to the carving throughout "Blackwell" the famous Arts & Crafts house designed by Bailey Scott and furnished by Arthur Simpson.
