A stunning quality pair of Victorian Period solid rosewood ladies and gents armchairs. Each chair having a solid rosewood chamfered frame with a cushioned back and sides and sprung seats. The arms supported on beautiful turned rosewood columns and with writhen turned front supports, swept back legs and brass and porcelain castors.These chairs are made entirely from the finest quality rosewood and were made during the aesthetic period when simplicity of design was fashionable but only the finest craftsmanship would suffice. These chairs are very reminiscent of furniture produced at this time by Collinson & Lock of London and could be firmly attributed to them. One of the finest cabinet makers of the 19th Century.
