A beautiful Victorian Period burr walnut and marquetry inlaid games/sewing table. The shaped top veneered in beautifully figured burr walnut with marquetry boxwood inlaid detail, which is repeated in the frieze drawer and sewing box. The top turns and opens to reveal a back gammon and chess board interior, above the rectangular frieze drawer and sliding sewing box. The whole raised on turned and carved walnut columns with swept cabriole supports and brass and porcelain castors, united by a turned and carved central stretcher.
