A Fine Pair Of Edwardian Period Mahogany Inlaid Armchairs C1900-1910

37" high x 25" deep x 25" wide (seat height 17")

 A fine pair of Edwardian Period mahogany inlaid armchairs. Each chair having carved acanthus scrolling crests with a central rectangular tablet, cross banded in tulip wood. The mahogany frame also banded in tulipwood. The arms raised on turned and fluted supports. The back and arms of each chair having padded supports and with a generous sprung seat. The chairs are newly re-upholstered in a classical gold damask. The whole supported on turned and fluted front legs with brass castors and having marquetry and pen-work inlaid detail, with swept rear supports. English circa 1900-1910

Condition: This pair of chairs are in stunning condition, cleaned and waxed. Newly re-upholstered in a gold silk damask in our workshops
