A Good George III Period Oak Lancashire Dresser & Rack C1800-1820

66" wide x 80" high x 18" deep at base (rack 6" deep, Cornice 12" deep)

 A good George III Period oak Lancashire dresser and rack. The upper section having a moulded cornice above three graduating shelves with patinated pine back boards. The lower section having a solid oak three plank top and having an arrangement of five rectangular pine lined working drawers with ebony escutcheons and twin panelled cupboard doors. The ends also having oak panels and "Lancashire" 1/4 reeded columns. Raised on ogee bracket feet English circa 1800-1820

Condition: This dresser is in excellent original condition. Some minor losses to the ebony escutcheons commensurate with age and use. The panelled doors may have had knobs which are now absent. Excellent original colour and patination. Waxed
