A Stunning Quality Victorian Period Burr Walnut & Amboyna Clover Leaf Games Table By T.H. Filmer & Sons

20" wide x 20" deep x 28" high (Opened 36" wide x 26" deep)

 A stunning quality Victorian Period burr walnut and amboyna clover leaf games table by T.H. Filmer & Sons of London. The top veneered in beautifully figured burr walnut with amboyna banding and an ebony moulded edge. Having four shaped drop leaves which when raised make the table into a clover leaf shape with four concealed sliding counter wells. Raised on four turned and fluted columns united by carved and fluted stretchers and with swept walnut feet and brass and porcelain castors. English circa 1870

 Filmer & Son was established by Thomas Henry Filmer, a cabinet-maker, upholsterer and appraiser first recorded at 34 Berners Street in 1835. A walnut teapoy bearing the firm`s label is in the Victoria and Albert Museum 

Condition: This table is in stunning condition, re-polished in our workshops
