A Solid oak Jacobean Revival distressed knee hole desk. The solid oak rectangular top having an inset pale green gilt and blind tooled leather writing surface, with a dentil moulded edge. Having an arrangement of nine rectangular drawers each with solid oak fronts, period style brass handles, solid oak drawer linings and brass two lever locks. With solid oak panelled sides and back, the whole raised on solid oak stile feet. English circa 1920-1930
Condition: This desk is in superb original condition, distressed when it was made to simulate Jacobean furniture of the late 17th Century Period. Wear to the leather commensurate with age and use. This desk is in one piece and does not split into sections.
