A 19th Century Period Kingwood and ormolu mounted pier cabinet. The rectangular top veneered in kingwood and with fine quality ormolu mouldings, above a rectangular shaped glazed door, opening to reveal a silk lined shelved interior and four cast ormolu bosses. The rounded corners again with finely cast ormolu mounts depicting the arts. Having glazed ends the whole raised on ormolu mounted cabriole supports. French circa 1860-1880
Condition: This cabinet is in excellent condition cleaned and waxed, the interior has been re-lined in a fine quality watermark silk.
