An oak Arts & Crafts Period winged armchair possibly by George Montague Ellwood. Having winged sides each with finely carved oak leaf and acorn roundels to the shaped upholstered back. With stylised Arts & Crafts open arms and a sprung seat the whole raised on square tapering supports with a central carved panel to the seat rail. Attributed to a design by George Montague Ellwood. England circa 1900 Condition: This chair is in good original condition, cleaned and waxed.
