A Fine Quality Edwardian Period Mahogany Inlaid Display Cabinet By Shapland & Petter C1900-1910

35.5" wide x 16" deep (9" deep at the top) x 86" high

 A fine quality Edwardian Period mahogany inlaid display cabinet by Shapland & Petter of Barnstaple. The upper section with a broken neck cornice with ribbon and swag marquetry inlaid detail and applied gilded roundels, above twin astragal glazed doors with boxwood line inlaid detail, opening to reveal a silk lined shelved interior. The lower section with a solid mahogany top and two mahogany lined frieze drawers with finely cast oval brass handles and back plates and shell inlaid corner spandrals. The whole raised on square tapering supports with brass ball feet and a lower shaped shelf with brass gallery. English circa 1900-1910

Condition: This cabinet is in excellent condition, newly re-lined in quality silk
