A 17th Century & Later Oak Refectory Table C1660-1680

92" wide x 36" deep x 32" high

A 17th Century & Later Oak refectory table. The two plank top with cleated ends and having a beautiful carved frieze to each side and raised on bulbous cup and cover turned supports united by stretchers. The table reconstructed and probably reduced in length during the second half of the 19th Century. The cleated ends are certainly replacements but the top, legs, frieze and stretchers are from a Jacobean Period table produced during circa 1660-1680

Condition: This table is in excellent condition, some marks to the top commensurate with age and use. A wonderful colour and patination
