A Good Early 19th Century Oak and Mahogany Welsh Dresser, the upper section having a projecting cornice with three graduating shelves and half round cylindrical applied mahogany columns, the backboards retaining the original blue paint, the lower section having a breakfront oak top with a mahogany moulded edge and having an arrangement of six graduated drawers having brass oval back plate handles, flanked by twin cupboard doors having inset mahogany panels enclosing shelved interiors, the whole raised on the original bracket feet circa 1830 Condition: This dresser is in excellent original condition, minor shrinkage to the backboards, marks and scuffs consistent with age and use
