A Good set of eight Arts and Crafts period oak dining chairs, having a shaped top rail with a pierced heart shaped design and vertical back splats above a studded leather seat, raised on square tapering supports united by X stretchers, these chairs possibly made by Waring and Gillow or Maple & Co, after a design by Arthur Simpson of Kendal Circa 1900-1910 Condition: These chairs are in excellent original condition, minor scuffs and marks consistent with age and use, one leather seat has a patch on (see picture)
