48" wide x 39.5" high x 26" deep

A beautiful Edwardian Period mahogany Carlton House desk,  the upper section having a pierced brass gallery to the arched super structure, above five mahogany lined drawers, two concave inlaid cupboards and two pigeon holes, having a shaped brown gilt and blind tooled inset leather writing surface to the centre, above three frieze drawers, each retaining the original brass handles, the whole raised on square tapering boxwood line inlaid supports terminating in brass and porcelain Castor's circa 1900-1910

This desk was made by the renown cabinet makers Shapland and Petter of Barnstaple, well known for Arts and Crafts Furniture

Condition: This desk is in excellent original condition, minor stains to the leather writing surface
