The centre section having two short and one long mahogany lined drawers above a fall front panel which is centred by a wonderful quality gold lacquered Japanese panel depicting a lobster or crayfish, surmounted by four rectangular plum pudding mahogany veneered panels, opening to reveal a satin birch cedar lined fitted interior which retains the original blue velvet lined writing surface.
