A Beautiful Edwardian Period mahogany pedestal desk by Shapland and Petter of Barnstaple, the rectangular mahogany top having an inset burgundy, black and gilt tooled leather writing surface. The frieze having three wonderful cushion front reeded mahogany lined drawers, above two pedestals, each with three graduating mahogany lined drawers, retaining the original brass backplate handles and escutcheons, raised on eight ring turned supports terminating in brass and porcelain Castor's, stamped S & P, B to all the locks, circa 1900-1910 Condition: This desk is in excellent condition, fully restored, cleaned and waxed
