Superior Quality Shapland and Petter Mahogany display cabinet. The central projecting cornice above an elaborately inlaid marquetry and abalone frieze with a central cupboard having a glazed door and enclosing the original velvet lined shelved interior, flanked by a heart shaped pierced gallery. The cupboard doors having elaborate inlaid panels of abalone and marquetry inlaid floral decoration depicting butterflies in flight, again enclosing a single shelved interior, with a single drawer to the base, the whole raised on square tapering supports united by stretchers circa 1900.
